Gardenland (Winkler) Co-op is hiring a full-time **Meat Clerk **at the Morden Food Store.

**What you’ll do**:
The Meat Clerk is responsible for delivering world-class customer service; wrapping, packaging and pricing cuts of meat, poultry and seafood; merchandising and displaying packaged meat; making hamburger patties and ground beef and maintaining department cleanliness and housekeeping standards. This position requires staff to work in a cool, damp environment and handle raw meat.

The Meat Clerk will live the Co-op Brand and strive to achieve and maintain positive and healthy relationships with co-workers and customers.

**Who you are**:
You are looking for a position in Customer Service and:

- Are committed to service excellence and are a team player
- Enjoy working in a diligent manner with attention to detail
- Can stand for extended periods of time, extensive walking
- Are willing to work with saws, knives and other equipment
- Can lift up to 50 lbs and willing to work in a cool, damp environment
- Have good interpersonal skills and possess a friendly disposition
- Have strong communication skills, verbal and written
- Are willing to work with all types of raw meat including beef, chicken, pork, sausage, lamb etc.Are available for full-time work, including working a rotation of Saturdays. Most shifts 8am-5pm.
