**Speedy Auto Service is looking for a Shop Manager**
If you have solid auto mechanic expertise and are ready for the next step, this could be your chance. As a **Shop Manager**, you will be responsible for effectively guiding the mechanical and customer service teams to generate high quality repairs and an excellent level of customer satisfaction.
As a **Shop Manager**, you will lead day-to-day operations and establish processes to ensure high standards of quality and productivity are met, as well as on-time timelines to maximize profits.
**A day in the life of a Shop Manager at Speedy Auto Service**:

- Increase and maintain customer service and customer retention.
- Provide the team with a stimulating and supportive environment.
- Control training and development of the staff
- Organize all store operations and allocate responsibilities to personnel
- Supervise and guide staff towards maximum performance
- Participate in the store’s budgeting aiming for minimum expenditure and maximum profitability
- Monitor stock levels and purchases and ensure they stay within budget
- Deal with complaints from customers to maintain the store’s reputation
- Inspect the areas in the store and resolve any issues that might arise
- Analyze sales and revenue reports to maximise sales and profits
- Ensure the store fulfils all legal and health and safety guidelines
- Participate in development in growth of local Commercial Accounts
- Adhere to National Account guidelines
- Participate in shop meetings and abiding by the Company and Shop policies and Provincial workplace safety regulations
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Extensive experience as a shop Manager or a similar role.
- A complete understanding of the day-to-day mechanical duties
- Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Ability to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally.
