**Job Summary**:
The Assistant, Marketing will be responsible for assisting the senior members of the marketing team on an as needed basis, primarily focused on tradeshow & event organization support. The position requires a basic overall understanding of general Marketing tactics & some experience in event coordination. Management of their project workload with tight deadlines within a deadline-based environment makes it a challenging role that allows for growth opportunities within the business.

**Responsibilities & Skills**:

- Attention to detail and strong ability to focus on data integrity, accuracy, and completeness
- Process driven, comfortable with performing similar tasks consistently and constantly
- Possess strong organizational skills, having the ability to multitask and prioritize workloads in a busy environment.
- Exceptional skills in MS Excel required; with ability to work through large datasets

**Essential Functions**:

- Tradeshow Organization: Supporting tradeshow execution, helping in the booking & logistics of the booth set-up on location (space booking, insurance, lighting, etc.). Includes coordination of product delivery to tradeshow location.
- Sales rep support: Main point of contact for sales rep, helping to coordinate orders, sample product distribution dates/quantity, image assets needed & other items as needed.
- Catalog proofing: Work with creative services team to do full end to end proofing of product catalogs prior to print distribution. Requires a strong attention to detail to ensure any errors are caught & corrected promptly.
- Tradeshow & Studio Inventory Count: Will lead the inventory counts at year-end & as needed prior to any tradeshows attended by Stormtech.
- Data Maintenance Upkeep: Support in product data updates, ensuring that all marketing touchpoints have clear & consistent information shared to customers.
- Social Media Support: On an as needed basis, supporting the marketing team with social media commenting/community engagement.

**Additional Considerations**:

- French Speaking is considered an asset
- Tradeshow or event organization experience an asset
- Process driven & able to create/implement efficient processes
- Excellent written communication skills

**Position type and expected hours of work**: This is a full time, salaried position with normal weekday office hours.

**Travel**:Some travel may be required.
