**Part-Time High School Math & Science Tutor**

Are you **passionate** about education? Do you have a **strong teaching background** at the elementary and secondary level? Are you available to teach **in person**?

As a tutor, teacher, and mentor at **Scholars**, you will be responsible for providing superior individualized academic support to our students. You are joining a dynamic team that will work with you to make sure that you make a difference in lives of each and every student you have the opportunity to work with.

**Essential Job Functions**
- Instruct students on an as-needed basis;
- Report student progress to management;
- Attend training workshops

**Requirements**:

- Strong educational background;
- Experienced in tutoring/mentoring;
- Vulnerable Sector Checks to be completed if not done recently;
- Able to work both as a part of a team and independently;
- Strong communication and multitasking abilities;
- Experience with students in a teaching or tutoring environment;
- Excellent organizational skills

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: From $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4-8 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Thursday and Saturdays

**Education**:

- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
- OCT Certified (preferred)

**Experience**:

- teaching: 1 year (preferred)
- tutoring: 1 year (preferred)

Work Location: In person

**Job Type**: Part-time
