**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Work to downstock, pick or pack orders daily.
- Manage shipping and receiving activities, including verifying shipments and maintaining inventory accuracy.
- Perform heavy lifting tasks required for loading and unloading materials.
- Break down and cut cardboard boxes for recycling.
- Organize the racking area to ensure items are neat and aisles are clear.
- Collect and dispose of waste and recycling in designated areas.
- Sweep and keep warehouse floors, aisles, and dock areas clean and free from debris.
- Report any hazards, spills, or unsafe conditions to the supervisor immediately.
- Follow all company safety policies and wear PPE as required.
- Assist with order picking, packaging, and order fulfillment processes to ensure accurate and timely delivery of products.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any mechanical issues promptly.
- Any other duties required by the supervisor in charge.

**Qualifications**
- 1+ years of Distribution experience
- Be proficient in English - both written and oral
- Be physically fit and able to repeatedly lift/move packages up to 40lbs throughout an entire work day
- Be computer literate and proficient with MS Windows
- Be able to work under extremely tight deadlines
- Be highly skilled in problem-solving, planning, and organizing
- Be punctual and reliable.
- Be efficient and accurate, with a strong attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for order picking and inventory management
- Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures and packaging standards
- Experience with warehouse safety protocols and the operation of heavy equipment in construction or industrial settings is desirable
- Warehouse experience combined with skills in order fulfillment, load & unload operations, and warehouse management system usage will be highly valued

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 40 per week
