We are seeking a talented and experienced Event Manager to join our dynamic team. Our Event Managers ensure every aspect of the event is carefully planned and executed, with unparalleled professionalism. If you have worked in a dealership in any one of multiple positions from sales, BDC, admin, management, then you likely already have the experience we are looking for.

We offer a very competitive and flexible remuneration package which is ideal for people seeking a break from the typical daily presence in a dealership. As an Event Manager, you will be the driving force behind the seamless execution of our dealer clients staffed and unstaffed events.

- You are a bit bossy but do it with a smile so you can get away with it, shy people need not apply
- You don’t mind a schedule which can have you working long hours one day, and nothing the next.
- You don’t mind travel, sometimes out of province and often overnight within Ontario.
- You can focus on the big picture and don’t sweat the small stuff.
- You have great phone skills, able to assist our customers in booking and confirming appointments with enthusiasm and energy.

**You will be responsible for**:

- Coordinating and overseeing all aspects of events, from inception to completion.
- Collaborating with our Dealer clients to understand their vision.
- Arriving at each dealership prepared for success and ready to dedicate your entire focus to the execution of the event.
- Ensuring you are familiar with all Automotive8 services to guarantee clients receive all the information they need to make an informed decision on what they need to be successful.
- Anticipating and resolving any event-related issues with finesse and professionalism.
- Creating and executing innovative event concepts that leave a lasting impression.Prospect for potential new clients in addition to continuously providing follow up with existing client.

**What you will bring to this role**:

- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.

- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Punctual, reliable, and dedicated.
- Professional, friendly and approachable.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Proven experience in the Automotive Industry a strong asset.
- Ability to travel overnight within Ontario.
- OMVIC license considered an asset.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.
