Quality Assurance Analyst- Fulltime, Term

**Quality Assurance Analyst (Remote within Canada), **5 month full-time, Term**

Reporting to the Quality Assurance (QA) Manager, the **QA Analyst** is responsible for reviewing software requirements, writing, executing, and maintaining test cases to ensure that Multiview Financial software is delivered with high quality to our clients. This is a 5-month full-time term position.

In this role, you will play a key role in ensuring the appropriate verification and validation of the software; this includes test planning, creation of test environment and test data, as well as execution of the test cases.

**WHAT YOU WILL DO**:

- Liaise with internal teams (e.g., developers and product managers) to identify system requirements.
- Work closely with other QA Testers, Software Developers, UX Designers, and Project Management teams to provide software testing for workflows.
- Develop and execute test cases to meet all requirements.
- Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts
- Stay up to date with new testing tools and test strategies.
- Conduct manual and automated testing based on regular product development cycles to develop, apply, and maintain quality standards.
- Analyze test results to ensure existing functionality and recommend corrective action.
- Follow established testing procedures and contribute to the continual improvement of those procedures.
- Create and maintain documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software.
- Perform analysis of test results to ensure functionality and recommend corrective action.
- Complete the logging, tracking, communication, and resolution of issues.
- Recommend changes based on the latest current technology and industry trends.

**KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS**:

- A degree, or diploma, with a major in Computer Science or equivalent relevant experience.
- **A minimum of two (2) years** of recent demonstrated experience as a QA Analyst.
- Understanding of the software development process.
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans, and test cases.
- Heightened attention to detail & strong analytical technical problem-solving skills.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines for multiple, concurrent projects.
- Ability to quickly gain a working knowledge of products, interpret requirements, and recommend solutions.
- Strong team-building skills to work well within a close team environment.
- Self-sufficient, resourceful, and work well with mínimal supervision.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

**PREFERRED**:

- ** Experience Level: 2-4 yrs**. Technical QA Analyst experience

Prior ERP Software experience, an understanding of financial transactions and ERP systems is considered an asset.
