Accounts Payable Team Lead

**Accounts Payable Team Lead,** you’ll oversee the daily workflow of the department, assist accounts payable employees in the performance of their job duties, as well as responding to vendor escalations.

**Work Environment**
We’re a hybrid team so you can work from your house, our office, a coffee shop, or wherever you’re inspired. This role requires 3 days a week in the office, and we’ll set you up with any gear you need to do your best work (think laptops, monitors, etc.).

**What You'll Do**:
**Essential Functions**
- You will be leading a team of 3-4 while leading AP workflow management.
- Assisting in vendor escalations while cultivating good relationships.
- Managing Tipalti - Vendor/Invoice revisions.
- Review inventory invoices in Netsuite.
- Working within Concur (Expense System) to manage users and approvers.
- Work on M/E accruals and M/E close.
- Assisting with bank Reconciliation and o/s items.

**Supervisory Responsibilities**
- Oversees the daily workflow of the department.
- Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations with other team members.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

**Who You Are**:

- Post Secondary education in accounting with 5+ years of accounting experience.
- 5+ years experience in accounts payable.
- 3+ years of proven people leadership experience.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, with excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Accuracy and attention to detail while working under deadlines.
- Organizational, time management, and prioritizing skills.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate them when appropriate.
- Proficient with G-suite / Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Intermediate excel skills, ability to use macros, pivot tables, and data analysis.
- General understanding of computerized accounting systems.

**Preferred education and experience**
- Associate Degree or Diploma in accounting, finance, or a related field is an asset.
