**Responsibilities**
- Perform X-ray examinations on patients as per physician orders, ensuring accurate positioning for optimal imaging results.
- Maintain and operate X-ray equipment, ensuring it is functioning correctly and safely.
- Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and addressing any concerns they may have.
- Adhere to safety protocols to minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff.
- Maintain accurate patient records, including imaging results and any relevant medical history.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to discuss imaging findings and assist in developing patient care plans.
- Stay updated on advancements in radiologic technology and best practices in the field.

**Requirements**:

- Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program.
- Valid state licensure or certification as an X-ray Technician.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with patients of varying backgrounds.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are essential for maintaining accurate records.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while prioritizing patient care and safety.
