Beauty Foundations Clinic is seeking a full-time **Medical Aesthetician/ Laser Technician** to enhance our team's delivery of an unparalleled MedSpa experience. Under the leadership of Ana Milne, a Registered Practical Nurse, our clinic provides in-demand treatments with a personal touch, ensuring each client feels their absolute best.

**Role Overview & Opportunities**

We are equipped with 13 advanced devices, enabling us to provide a wide range of high-quality treatments and cater to diverse client needs.

As a Medical Aesthetician/ Laser Technician, you will provide treatments to our clients and embody the clinic's philosophy of attentive and personalized care. Specifically, our facials transcend traditional treatments by combining results-driven techniques with relaxation. Tailored to each client's unique needs, we ensure an effective and pampering experience.

It's important to mention that our clinic focuses exclusively on medical aesthetics and does not offer traditional spa services like waxing, threading, etc. This role is ideal for professionals passionate about specializing in medical-grade skin care and treatments.

We are specifically looking for professionals who have experience or a strong interest in transitioning from a traditional spa setting to the dynamic field of medical aesthetics. This role is perfect for those who are eager to expand their skills in advanced aesthetic treatments and thrive in a medically-focused environment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide a comprehensive range of aesthetic services including but not limited to skin assessments, facials, chemical peels, microneedling, and other advanced skin care treatments.
- Engage clients with in-depth consultations by providing recommendations for treatments and products that align with their skincare goals and ensure safety and comfort.
- Performing the consults and services including:

- HydraFacial
- Clarity Laser (Nd:Yag + Alexandrite)
- Lutronic Hollywood Carbon Peel
- How to create a custom facial (manual facials)
- Lumecca IPL
- Collaborate with the team to cross-promote services, enhancing the client’s overall experience and treatment outcomes.
- Actively participate in social media engagement and marketing initiatives that mirror the clinic's high standards and values.
- Uphold meticulous attention to detail in all aspects of the clinic’s operations, from treatment delivery to the overall client experience.
- Recommend skincare to enhance treatment results and protect clients' investments.
- Collaborate and support the team for a cohesive working environment.
- Provide post-treatment instruction and education.
- Uphold the highest standard of cleanliness and organization of treatment rooms and all work areas.
- Continuously updating their knowledge and keeping an open mind for the betterment of client goals.
- Participate in education events and training opportunities for development.
- Other duties as required.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum (two) 2 years experience as a full-time Medical Aesthetician/ Laser Technician.
- Demonstrated success in sales and a proven ability to cross-promote services such as injectables, laser treatments, and wellness programs.
- Proficiency with Vagaro software or comparable scheduling software is preferred.
- A proven track record of sales with medical-grade skin care including ZO SkinHealth, SkinCeuticals
- Experience in conducting introductory client consultations by phone, virtually, and in person.
- Experience in retail sales, point-of-sale, and invoicing.
- Experience with using before and after photography.
- Experience with event planning, social media management, and e-newsletter communications
- Fluent in scheduling software and rebooking practices to ensure client retention.
- Attention to detail with patient confidentiality, medical information, safety, procedures, and protocols.

**We Offer**:

- A competitive salary of $20-$23 per hour with the potential for performance-based raises.
- 7% Commission on all retail skin care sales (excluding events and no tax days).
- Clinic hours:

- Monday to Tuesday, from 11am to 7pm
- Wednesday to Thursday, from 12pm to 8pm
- Friday 10am to 5pm
- Occasional Saturdays from 10am to 3pm
