The Project Manager is responsible for proactively managing the initiation, planning, analysis, design, execution, implementation and close-out of specific projects in support of business objectives. The incumbent is guided by defined goals and objectives, and works under the general supervision of their manager.

**What you’ll be working on**:
- Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals, and deliverables that support desired business objectives, in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders- Define project tasks and resource requirements- Work closely with resource managers in IT and other business units to acquire necessary project resources and assign specific tasks and responsibilities to project team members- Provide direction, coaching and support to project team- Create and manage project budget; track and report project expenses on a regular basis- Schedule and track project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools- Develop project plans and other communications documents- Monitor and report on the progress of the project to all stakeholders on a regular basis- Identify project issues and deal with those that can be resolved within the project team; for larger, more complex issues, escalate to key project stakeholders in a timely fashion- Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path- Proactively identify and manage project risks and mitigation strategies to minimize risk exposure-
- Effectively manage any changes to project scope, budget or timelines following change control guidelines- Define project success criteria and continually manage project expectations with stakeholders and team members- Conduct post-implementation project reviews to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements

**What you’ll need to have**:
- Min. of 2 to 3 years of experience managing small to medium sized business transformation projects and/or IT projects- Demonstrated knowledge and expertise of Project Management methodologies and development practices- Exposure to different platforms, architectures, languages and modern development toolkits- Proven track record of developing and leading dynamic, high performing teams along with a prove ability to drive and influence change through innovation and process improvement- Experience building, developing and growing relationships, at all levels of the organization- Demonstrated experience leading discussions and working effectively with senior leaders- Ability to work independently including managing priorities and setting and guiding plans- Previous consulting experience and/or proven engagement skills, to actively listen and understand stakeholders needs and collaborate to bring clarity to the definition of those needs- Presentation skills- Ability to influence without direct authority- Proven negotiation skills- A University degree or college diploma in Business, Technology or another related field or equivalent experience- Project Management Professional (PMP) designation is an asset
