Your role is to offer a hospitable welcome to all residents and guests, and provide timely and professional service of food and beverage items in accordance with the Standards and Procedures Manual.

**Main Duties**
- To welcome all residents and guests; greeting them with a professional and courteous manner.
- To be informed about the daily specials and à la carte menu, having full knowledge of the ingredients they contain to ensure residents with dietary concerns understand what they are ordering.
- To ensure correct ordering of items through the kitchen in a fast paced environment.
- To ensure prompt clearing and resetting of tables in order to maximize labor and minimize turnover time between seatings.
- To assist in taking resident attendance.
- To prepare and deliver trays to residents not coming down to dine.
- To ensure proper billing is carried out for tray service, residents' guests, etc.
- To minimize breakage by neat and safe stacking of items at the dishwashing area.
- To carry out opening and closing duties, achieving standards required by company policy.
- To embrace a commitment to superior customer service and ensure total resident care is in line with the company policy.

**Education & Experience**

Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful performance would qualify. This is a physically demanding position in a fast-paced work environment committed to providing the highest level of customer care and service. Typical qualifications would be equivalent to:

- High school or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year relevant industry experience
- Food Safe Level 1
- Serving It Right

Must be legally able to work in Canada.

**Salary**: $16.50-$20.97 per hour
