**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Operate dump trucks to transport materials such as gravel, sand, and asphalt to designated locations.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Collaborate with site supervisors and other operators to coordinate material deliveries and site needs.
- Assist in loading and unloading materials as required, ensuring proper handling techniques are used.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including quantities and types of materials transported.
- Perform basic maintenance on vehicles, including cleaning and minor repairs.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting issues that may arise during operation.
- Operate additional heavy equipment as needed, including backhoes, graders, and horizontal drilling machinery.

**Qualifications**
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is required.
- Proven experience in dump truck driving or heavy equipment operation is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform minor repairs on equipment.
- Familiarity with construction processes such as paving and digging is a plus.
- Ability to operate Caterpillar machinery or similar heavy equipment effectively.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols on job sites.
