Hourly Pay: $15.00
Job Role:
We are looking for an outgoing individual to join our team This individual is responsible for opening the store, preparing baked goods for opening, and running the front end.
Job Tasks:
Greet customers in a pleasant and helpful manner
Answering questions regarding ingredients in baked goods
Assisting Customers with their order
Operate cash and credit/debit machine
Making Coffee as needed
Keeping the front end stocked with baked goods and ensuring the product is fresh
Preparing items such as cinnamon buns, dinner buns, bread, muffins, and scones
Opening the storefront and assuring everything is clean
Preparing sandwiches, salads, and any other lunch items we may have
Preparing various baked goods such as cookies, squares
Preparing catering orders
Assist with cleaning and dishes throughout the shift
**Skills**:Ability to successfully operate a P.O.S system
Ability to lift up to 60lbs and work on your feet for a period of time
Must be a good communicator and willing to work with the general public.
Good problem solving abilities to ensure customer needs are met.
Must have experience baking items such as cinnamon buns, dinner buns, bread, muffins, scones, cookies, and more
Education and Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Excellent reading and numeracy skills
Computer skills
Excellent verbal and written methods of communication.
Previous experience working in a bakery or other type of food service job.
**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 20 per week
Schedule:
- 4 hour shift
**Experience**:
- Baking: 1 year (preferred)
