**Overview**:
Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Technician is proficient in the manufacturing, repairs and

overhaul of Weatherhaven shelters and shelter systems. The Technician leads peers by example in fact

such as time management, performance, and mastery of equipment and processes needed to build,

repair, and package product.

**Qualifications**:

- Good physical fitness
- Basic mechanical work experience
- Must be safety cautious
- Ability to give directions to team members
- Have good time management skills
- Possess strong interpersonal skills to relate with all members of the team.

**Duties**:

- The ability to measure, mark, and cut using templates
- Ability to lead by example or responsibility in production tasks
- Ability to learn, use, and safely operate machinery needed to produce products (i.e. cnc cutter, rf welder, sewing, gromet, webbing cutter, fabric welder).
- Evaluate manufacturing equipment for safety and functionality
- Ensure that products and goods manufactured meet quality standards obtainable in the industry
- Motivate workers to enhance production quantity and at the same time maintain high production standards
- The ability to train peers on work instructions and processes
- Check finished products to ensure quality, and that industry standards are met before they are declared ready for use
- Convey work performance area conditions to Supervisor
- Drive provided schedule with team
- Ensure that work materials are present when needed.
- Repeatedly lift 50 lbs unaided. Occasionally lift 60 lbs with assistance
- Perform miscellaneous other duties and projects as assigned and required.
