**Responsibilities**:

- A Grade 12 Diploma
- Level 1, 2 Apprentice Plumber with experience in the plumbing field considered an asset
- Must have a valid driver’s license with clean driver’s abstract
- Must be physically capable of performing all work required of this position
- Excellent verbal and communication skills
- Customer service skills
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Be able to learn quickly
- Be able to lift heavy objects
- Be willing to learn from experienced plumbers
- Understand the importance of using safety equipment
- Need to be able to keep a clean and organized worksite
- Be punctual

**Job duties**

This position would require assisting experienced plumbers with a variety of day-to-day tasks including:

- Removal and installation of furnaces, Water-Heaters, Air Conditioners, etc.
- Assist in plumbing rough-ins for new residential construction/renovations (sheet metal/duct work installations, running water lines, installing pex tubing and copper, drainage/venting, setting new fixtures, etc).
- Operating power tools (hammer drills, reciprocating saws, angle grinders, angle drills, impact drills).
- Installation/services of water systems (pump systems).

**Salary**: $15.00-$25.00 per hour
