The Original Cakerie is Canada's leading and largest privately-owned frozen dessert manufacturer. We are looking to hire **Full Time Relief Mixers AM** to join our production team at our Delta, BC facility.

Our Mixers follow recipes and procedures and use computerized equipment to batch and mix ingredients for cake production.

Duties will include:

- Follow production guidelines specification sheets, task sheets, and recipes to produce high-quality cakes and desserts
- Ensure that standard operating procedures are followed for all recipe formulations and department specifications
- Set-up and preparation and cleanliness of the mixing area
- Uphold our BRC (British Retail Consortium) commitments to ensure the food safety and quality

**Job Requirements**:

- Experience in food manufacturing as an asset
- This position works in production when not working in mixing.
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication skills
- Physically fit - the ability to lift and push heavy items (20-50 lbs)
- Understanding of weights & measures
- Ability to work 10.5hour shifts

**Schedule**:

- Shifts are scheduled Monday through Saturday and 10.5 hours in length
- Schedules are posted 2 weeks in advance, no fixed Hrs. or days
- ** AM shift (start times will vary every day between 12am - 10:45 am)**:

- ** PM Shift ( start times will vary every day between 11 am - 11:45 pm)**:

- ** Example (for a PM shift if we schedule you at 2:15 PM your shift will end at 12:45 AM)**:

- ** (for an AM shift if we schedule you at 4:00 AM your shift will end at 2:30 AM)**

**What we provide**:

- Great wages Starting at **$22.46/hr**.

- Night Premium is $1.5 (for PM Shift that are starting between 9:00 PM to 3:00 AM).
