Cleanroom Technician

BMV Optical Technologies provides manufacturing services for precision optical components and optical systems. Products include lenses, laser windows, beamsplitters, prisms, machined glass components, as well as optical coatings. Industries served include Telecom, Military, Medical, Research and Development, and Industrial Applications.

The clean room technician prepares all optics for coating by inspecting, cleaning, and loading and unloading tooling jigs.

**Responsibilities**:

- As required, conduct inspections on coated and/or uncoated optical substrates.
- Prepare optical surfaces for coating by using the proper cleaning techniques and inspecting the surfaces to make sure they are clean enough for coating.
- Handles optics in an appropriate manner to avoid any damage to the parts.
- Load optics into appropriate tooling jigs and unload coated optics.
- Read and understand lens drawings.
- Help with packaging/shipping as needed
- Other duties as may be assigned.

Qualifications:

- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Prior cleanroom experience would be an asset.
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication skills
