IPAC Consulting is a national leader in Infection Prevention and Control (IPAC) and Health & Safety (H&S). We support healthcare, dental, long-term care, community care, and construction sectors through audits, education, policy development, outbreak management, and regulatory compliance.

We are expanding our team and looking for a motivated **Associate IPAC & Health & Safety Consultant** who is passionate about improving safety, preventing infections, and supporting clients across Ontario.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their IPAC career who is eager to learn, grow, and obtain their LTC-CIP certification.

**About the Role**

As an Associate Consultant, you will work directly with senior consultants and clients to deliver high-quality IPAC and H&S services. You will participate in audits, training, outbreak support, compliance assessments, and the development of policies and procedures.

This role combines fieldwork, client engagement, and technical consulting — ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.

**Key ResponsibilitiesIPAC & H&S Consulting Support**
- Assist in conducting IPAC and H&S audits in long-term care, retirement, dental, and other healthcare settings.
- Support outbreak investigations and provide on-site and virtual guidance.
- Help develop IPAC and H&S policies, procedures, and training materials.
- Support clients with compliance requirements, risk assessments, and corrective action planning.

**Education & Training**
- Assist in delivering IPAC and H&S education to frontline staff and leadership teams.
- Contribute to e-learning development, presentations, and workshop materials.

**Documentation & Reporting**
- Prepare clear, accurate reports and recommendations.
- Maintain organized project notes, audit findings, and client communications.

**Client Service & Professionalism**
- Provide exceptional service and maintain strong client relationships.
- Represent IPAC Consulting with professionalism, reliability, and integrity.

**Travel**
- Regular travel across Ontario is required to support client visits.

**QualificationsEducation**
- Post-secondary education in a healthcare field (e.g., Nursing, Public Health, Health Sciences, Environmental Health, or equivalent).
- Formal education in Infection Prevention and Control (or in progress) is preferred.

**Experience**
- Experience in long-term care, healthcare, dental, community health, or public health settings is an asset.
- Exposure to IPAC, outbreak management, or H&S programs is strongly preferred.
- Strong interest in developing a career in IPAC consulting.

- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Comfortable with travel, in-person work, and client-facing responsibilities.

**Certification Requirement**

Support and mentorship will be provided.

**Other Requirements**
- Valid driver’s license and reliable access to a vehicle.
- Ability to travel across Ontario as required.
