**ROLE**:QA Technician

**LOCATION**:Annacis Island

We are looking for a **Quality Assurance Technician** to join our Quality Assuranceteam Our Quality Assurance Technicianwill help us ensure the fast and accurate handling of documents and products/material tests to support the quality team.

The QA Technician will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that raw material, raw product and finished product is inspected and released in time and that non-conforming product disposition is handled in an efficient manner.

- You have a working knowledge of CFIA standards
- You understand HACCP concepts and processes (training in HACCP)
- You have intermediate level Excel, Word, and Outlook skills
- **Experience**_
- You have a Degree/Diploma in Food Science/Food Technology or related discipline
- You have experience working in a similar capacity, preferably in a food production facility or a food testing lab
- **Nice-to-Have**_
- You have experience troubleshooting complex QA issues

**Things you will do**
- Ensure products meet company and regulatory standards by running tests, inspections, reports, internal and external audits
- Help manage all QA and QC records, documents, and samples pertaining to HACCP and CFIA, etc.
- Carry out lab testing including micro test, organoleptic evaluation and other plant base and dairy quality tests
- Verification of all sanitation activities pertaining to preoperational inspections, swabbing, calibration, cleaning, and maintenance of laboratory equipment
- Effectively communicate quality control expectations to employees and support with training for GMP’s

**Other**
- You must be available to work 12-hour shifts on a 36-hour work week (3X 12 hour shifts or 4 X 9 hour shifts)
- Day 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM; Night 600 PM to 6:00 AM
