Business Analyst, Loyalty Airline Partnerships

Let your career take flight by joining our diverse and vibrant team at the leading edge of passenger aviation.** Air Canada seeks an analytically minded individual that will support the growth and enhancement of the Aeroplan earn program on Air Canada flights as well as bilateral earn & redeem with airlines partners. This position will help ensure we unlock the full value of our customer loyalty program for the airline and customers alike, by influencing its continuous evolution to amplify its value proposition. This position will be based in Montreal or Toronto and reports to the Manager, Airline Partnerships and Program Performance. - Refine and recommend new loyalty products/services to achieve and maintain a "best-in-class" customer value proposition - Ensure seamless delivery of the Air Canada Earn program for members, across full suite of earnable point types by championing solid, consistent delivery with our e-Commerce, call center and IT partners. - Refine and suggest recommendations based on understanding the airline's operational, financial, and commercial objectives & realities which can shape the loyalty program - Closely monitor loyalty industry trends to identify emerging opportunities as well as potential business threats in the interest of delivering creative action plans - Support implementation of new features, such as upgrade awards, air accrual programs, and Elite benefit partnerships, through design and articulation of clear and concise requirements/acceptance criteria. Identify and address issues and potential risks associated with any loyalty program initiative, feature, or enhancement - Provide strategic input to program design decisions based on member feedback and financial drivers - Work collaboratively with e-Commerce, Technology, Marketing, and Finance teams as well as numerous internal and external stakeholders and vendors on a day-to-day basis Serve as first point of contact for escalated partner customer handling and support, as well as operational issues (Call Centres, Airports, IT, Compliance/Fraud) **Qualifications** - Undergraduate degree in Finance, Business, or an Analytical discipline required - Minimum of 3 years of business experience in airlines, loyalty, or product management - Exceptional project management skills which enable successful tracking and delivery of initiatives - Demonstrates initiative, with strong experience handling multiple time-critical projects within an evolving business environment - Strong awareness of both the airline and loyalty competitive environment preferred Well-developed Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills - Willing and able to travel as required **Conditions of Employment**: Mandatory Covid-19 Vaccination Required **Linguistic Requirements** **Diversity and Inclusion** Air Canada is strongly committed to Diversity and Inclusion and aims to create a healthy, accessible and rewarding work environment which highlights employees' unique contributions to our company's success.
