**Overview**
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Food Service Team Member to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about the food industry, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation. The position offers an opportunity to develop valuable skills in food preparation, cashiering, and restaurant operations within a fast-paced environment. Prior restaurant or food industry experience is preferred but not required; we provide comprehensive training to help you succeed. The Food Service Team Member will play a vital role in delivering a positive dining experience for our guests while ensuring smooth daily operations.

**Responsibilities**
- Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and quality standards
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling
- Provide exceptional customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and addressing guest needs
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, including upselling menu items to enhance guest experience
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and food preparation zones in compliance with food safety standards
- Assist with food presentation and portion control to ensure consistency
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service delivery
- Follow all food handling protocols and sanitation procedures to uphold health regulations
- Support team members in various tasks as needed to ensure smooth restaurant operations

**Experience**
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly desirable
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
- Knowledge of food preparation, cashiering, and basic math skills for accurate transactions and inventory management
- Experience with food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Prior kitchen experience or serving background is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided for all new team members

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $17.20 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
