Rv Technician

**Job Summary**

We’re looking for a skilled and detail-oriented **RV Service Technician** to join our team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and installing various components and systems in recreational vehicles (RVs). This is a hands-on position ideal for someone with a strong mechanical aptitude and a passion for problem-solving.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Perform **pre-delivery inspections (PDIs)** and accessory installations on RVs.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain **propane gas and electric appliances** such as furnaces, refrigerators, water heaters, stoves, and air conditioners.
- Conduct **structural and body repairs**, including work on fiberglass, siding, windows, doors, and roofs.
- Install, replace, and maintain **interior features** such as flooring, cabinetry, countertops, vents, and awnings.
- Service and repair **plumbing, electrical, battery, and propane gas systems**.
- Install **trailer and fifth wheel hitches**, wire tow vehicles, and perform maintenance on trailer frames, undercarriages, and suspension systems (Note: this position does not include engine or drivetrain repair).
- Use **testing equipment** and manufacturer specifications to diagnose and complete repairs.
- Utilize **manuals, parts catalogues, and online resources** to identify and order necessary repair parts.
- Maintain **accurate documentation** of repairs, inspections, and parts used.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, customers, and manufacturers to ensure timely and high-quality service.
- Perform brake and bearing service on trailers including wheel and tire changing.
- Other duties as assigned.

**What We’re Looking For**
- Experience in RV repair, maintenance, or a related trade (e.g., HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or carpentry).
- Ability to use **hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment**.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and follow safety protocols.

Pay: $26.76-$34.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
