West Vancouver, Canada Stars for Life Childcare Education Ltd. Full time

We are looking for a Responsible Adult or a ECEA to be part of our team. No ECEA certificate required.
- Help teachers to lead children and adapt daily routines in order to stimulate and

develop their intellectual, physical and emotional growth, ensuring their safety,

security and well-being at all times.
- Execute all daily routines with scope of ECEA, CCLR (Child Care Licensing

Regulation) principals and as directed by manager.
- Support teachers with our Program/Curriculum, by supporting all

activities, promoting literacy and math concepts, by telling or reading stories,

teaching songs, taking children to local points of interest and providing

opportunities to express creativity through the media of art, dramatic play, music

and physical activity.
- Supervise suitable indoor and outdoor childcare activities.
- Assess the abilities, interest and needs of children and discuss progress or

problems with staff members, for support.
- Assist children in developing proper eating, dressing and toilet habits.
- Establish and maintain collaborative relationship with co-workers and community

service providers, working with children.
- Keep environment clean, including sanitizing, sweeping, dusting, washing dishes,

chores to be allocated with staff.
- Ensuring that the facility and all equipment is clean, well-maintained, and safe
- Participating in on-going in-service and education development opportunities, and

participating in the ongoing development and evaluation of the program’s goals

and objectives
- Assist teachers providing a classroom environment that encourages parent

participation
- Support teachers providing adequate equipment and activities
- Facilitate maintenance with scope of an Employee Policy.

**Salary**: From $19.00 per hour
