Red Tower Armoury Inc. is looking to fill a position for a Powder Coat applicator. Previous experience in the industrial/ manufacturing industry is preferred but not required. Applicants must be physically fit and able, well organized, be able to work independently, hold flexible hours, and meet strict timelines in a fast-paced environment.

**Summary**

The Powder Coat applicator is responsible for operations and oversight of the powder coating process and ensuring high-quality finishes.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Surface Preparation**: Oversee the cleaning, sanding, masking, and pre-coating preparation of surfaces.
- **Quality Control**: Conduct inspections and tests to verify that painted surfaces meet company standards and rectify any issues.
- **Documentation Control**:Complete daily documentation and ensure parts are clearly labelled and information documents complete.
- **Training**: Help train new team members on proper techniques, safety protocols, and productivity goals.
- **Maintenance**: Assist in the performance of routine maintenance on powder coating equipment and troubleshoot minor issues to minimize downtime.
- **Safety Compliance**: adhere to safety and environmental regulations.
- **Cleaning and Organization**: cleaning, maintaining, and organizing of powder coat equipment and booth
- Other related duties as may be assigned

**Requirements**:

- **Education**:Secondary School Diploma or equivalent
- **Experience**: working in an assembly environment.
- Minimum of 1 year in industrial powder coating.
- Working in an ISO certified environment an asset.
- Leadership experience an asset.
- Experience with use of hand tools: hammer, punch, screwdriver, scissors, allen keys, pliers
- **Team player**: Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- **Attention to Detail**: Detail-oriented approach to ensure high-quality finishes and adherence to standards
- **Problem-Solving**: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly and efficiently
- **Flexibility**: Adaptability to changing job requirements and schedules
- **Licensing**: Forklift License an asset
- RPAL Licensing - is an asset

**Work Conditions**:

- Ability to lift and carry objects with assistance 50-75lbs
- The ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time
- Manual dexterity required
- Frequently noisy working environment
- Overtime as required
- Able to remain standing for long periods of time

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour
