Psychotherapist - Msw, Rsw

You would be working as an independent contractor providing counselling and psychotherapy services to couples and individuals across a broad spectrum of issues.We are currently overflowing with intake and would love to bring someone on to share the load.

Our office is at 28 Owen St, Unit 202, and it is available for use: Mondays 2-9, Saturdays 9-9 and Sundays 9-9 (we recommend 5-6 clients a shift max). You can build your availability around those times (we recommend virtual sessions to be done from the office as well to ensure privacy and confidentiality).

Our hourly pay is competitive, with the hopes that you can have a good work/life balance; allowing you to work less, be incredibly present for clients, and have lots of time with your family.

Please note: it can take a few weeks to build up a caseload, but we are committed to making that happen for you.

**Qualifications**
- Minimum Masters level education in Social Work (MSW)
- Full Registration with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers
- Valid Criminal Records Check and Vulnerable Sector Screening (within the past year)
- Valid Professional Liability Insurance maintained annually
- Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development
- Commitment to ethics

**Responsibilities**
- Conduct individual, couple and family therapy sessions in a private practice setting
- Create and maintain notes, treatment plans, reports and any other written material in a timely manner
- Ensure proper clinical interventions are implemented
- Ensure strict confidentiality and data protection and upholding client privacy at all times
- Maintain license and insurance

Note: as an independent contractor you are also responsible to track and pay your own income tax.

**Salary**:

- Starting at $80 an hour
- $90/hr after one year
- $100/hr after year two
- **If at that point you want a higher hourly we could discuss raising your rate
