Back Shop Attendant Golf Course

- **Key Responsibilities**_

**Customer Service**:

- Greet golfers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Provide information about course policies, tee times, and other amenities.
- Respond to customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly.

**Golf Cart Maintenance**:

- Clean and maintain golf carts, ensuring they are in good working condition.
- Monitor and ensure the carts are charged and stocked with necessary items (e.g., scorecards, tees, pencils, etc.
- Perform basic maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues or needed repairs to the supervisor.

**Facility Maintenance**:

- Assist in maintaining a clean and safe environment.
- Clean and organize storage areas, ensuring they are free of debris and hazards.
- Putting out/ picking up golf balls at the practice facility.
- Performing garbage runs throughout the course.

**Tee Time & Check-In Support**:

- Assist with checking in golfers and confirming tee times, ensuring smooth course operations.
- Assist golfers with their golf bags or pull them from bag drop and place securely on designated golf cart.
- Direct golfers to the appropriate starting tees and inform them of any course updates.

**Safety and Equipment Compliance**:

- Assist in the enforcement of course rules and regulations, including proper use of carts and equipment.

**Communication & Teamwork**:

- Work collaboratively with other golf course staff, including pro shop, course maintenance, and clubhouse teams.
- Keep management informed about any customer concerns or operational issues.
- Assist with other duties as directed by the supervisor or management team.

**Other Duties/ Responsibilities**:

- Opening and closing responsibilities
- Sending golfers off in proper intervals
- Staging carts
- Putting out time cards
- Transporting people
- Maintaining pace of play
- Filling sand & seed bottles
- Filling club & ball washers
- Stocking coolers with ice
- Bringing propane to BBQ's
- Replacing carts
- Communicating with back shop/pro shop via radio
- Setting up - Registration, hole sponsors, contests, etc.

- **Physical Requirements**:_
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- **Qualifications**_
- Previous experience in customer service or a related field is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of golf course operations and equipment is a plus.
- Ability to operate and maintain golf carts and other small machinery.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Proficient in English with strong communication skills and interpersonal skills.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
