So, if you are ready to make a career move, and you want to make a difference in our ability to serve our clients, you may become our next...DRYWALLER **Each day you will help rebuild and restore damaged houses, buildings, or other structures and builds by making damaged drywall disappear. **Responsibilities**: - Measure and install drywall panels to accommodate electrical outlets, air-conditioning units, and plumbing. - Possess skills with power and non-power tools to saw, drill, or cut holes in panels. - Install blanket insulation between studs and tacks plastic moisture barrier over insulation. - Remove plaster, drywall, or panelling, using crowbar and hammer. - Assemble and install metal framing and decorative trim for windows, doorways, and vents. - Read blueprints and other specifications to determine method of installation, work procedures, and material and tool requirements. - Lay out reference lines and points, computing position of framing and marking position. - Install horizontal and vertical metal or wooden studs for attachment of wallboard on interior walls. - Estimate the number of materials needed to complete a job and the length of time needed to complete the job. **Additional Requirements** - Minimum 1 year of drywall experience. - Ability to pass a background check - Valid drivers' license (FULL G) - Availability for scheduled on-call and after-hour shifts **Salary**: $20.00 per hour **Benefits**: - Dental care - Extended health care - Vision care Flexible Language Requirement: - French not required Schedule: - 8 hour shift Supplemental pay types: - Overtime pay Ability to commute/relocate: - Barrie, ON L4N 2N4: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
