**This position reports to**:
Price Manager

**Your role and responsibilities**:
The Pricing authorizer will play an integral role in the coordination of pricing activities to improve decision making capabilities. Working directly with sales, marketing and distribution on driving profitable growth through data analytics, improved processes, and better tools. The Pricing Authorizer activities will assist in impacting profitability through strategic pricing and decision making on quote agreements. This position will report to the pricing manager and support the Senior Pricing Authorizer. Typical duties/responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following: - Working with Sales and Marketing to maximize volume, margin and price through each of the different business models; flow business, Special price agreements. Evaluate optimization opportunities. - Work with marketing on price bands by product and strategies to improve them. - Support Sales teams properly reviewing business opportunities and uploading quotations and materials to assess the opportunity as a whole. - Drive standardization of processes across regions and product lines. - Ability to identify business issues and how they impact finance, production, pricing, costing and logistics. - Lead implementation of pricing policies and procedures. - Manage price approvals and evaluate new and existing market opportunities that will be reviewed and presented to Pricing and Marketing leadership. - Manage relationships with multiple regions, participate on disputes and provide resolutions.

**Qualifications for the role**:

- Relevant diploma combined with minimum of 5 Years of experience in a commercial or analytics role.
- Strong relationship builder and assertive, good facilitation and influencing skills with the ability to explain pricing / business concepts in user-friendly language.
- Self motivator with ability to work independently and as a contributing team member.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities with advanced user of Excel (formulas, macros).
- Ability to prioritize work and follow through on deadlines in a fast paced and ever-changing environment.
