**We are looking for a Kitting Lead Hand **to join our operations team. You will be responsible **f**or leading, coordinating and overseeing work on the kitting line in order to produce the job in a timely matter in relation to DCM’s production schedule.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- supervise core and temporary staff to meet production standards and customer priorities, this includes DCM employees from other departments
- Assist in resolving production or employee issues in accordance with company standards..
- Inform Manager of any major production problems or delays that will impact the delivery date
- Participate in department meeting before shift to review daily expectations and jobs prior to starting.
- Manage the efficiency of the Kitting line
- Minimize the opportunity for error
- Ensure quality control standards are met or exceeded in a timely manner from start to finish.
- Ensure the department is kept organized, clean and housekeeping guidelines are followed

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Minimum of three years’ experience as a Lead Hand in the manufacturing industryar role in the Printing industry
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- Superior organizational and time management skills
- Ability to multi-task and establish priorities
- Excellent customer service skills
- Intermediate computer skills including knowledge of shipping systems
- Experience in the Printing Industry is an asset.
