Burlington, Canada West Burlington Dentistry Full time

Looking for either a Paediatric dentist or a General dentist who would be comfortable treating infant patients.

We are a holistic dental centre providing full body solutions for oral motor dysfunction. We look at the whole baby & person and work closely with a wellness centre whose schedule we have access to and priority with. In this capacity we can provide holistic care and still treat in a time effective and profitable manner.

At this time, we are specifically looking for someone who wants to receive mentorship and training in providing infant frenectomies with a holistic approach. We do not provide quick surgeries at the initial appointment. Rather, we provide a functional and structural assessment, have parents start exercises and provide light therapy. After the initial appointment, parents are advised to seek osteopathic or chiropractic treatment to down-regulate the fascia. Parens should also be working with an IBCLC so that all aspects of the dysfunction is being managed by the appropriate provider. If babies show improvements (measured by a reduction of symptoms) we can continue with our non-surgical efforts. If babies fail to improve then we proceed with the infant frenectomy.

This opportunity is perfect for someone who is comfortable with infant handling and who loves babies and for the person who has a holistic mindset.

There are also general dentistry opportunities that can be limited to parts of the day or days of the week.
