**Job Overview**
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in various settings, including nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and home care environments. Your primary focus will be on enhancing the quality of life for seniors and individuals with special needs by assisting them with daily activities and ensuring their comfort and safety.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
- Help with meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition for clients.
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor clients for any side effects or changes in condition.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties.
- Support clients with mobility and transportation needs, ensuring they can attend appointments or social activities.
- Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
- Engage clients in recreational activities that promote mental and physical well-being.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in caregiving, senior care, or home care is preferred.
- Knowledge of dementia care practices is a plus.
- Familiarity with medication administration protocols is beneficial.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients.
- A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Must be organized and detail-oriented, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently.
