Brass Lion Entertainment is seeking animators to join a talented and diverse team currently working on a new, unannounced Action-RPG title.
Brass Lion Entertainment has employees based in New York City, Montréal, and remote locations across Canada and the United States.
**Responsibilities**
- Create and implement high quality keyframe animations in close concert with animation and technical directors as well as the gameplay design team.
- Collaborate with establishing the animation requirements and pipeline
- Troubleshoot and solve animation related production issues
- Ability to brainstorm and demonstrate new technical ideas and solutions
- Participate in critiquing of the project and collaborate on solutions to feedback
**Required Qualifications**
- Professional and relevant keyframing experience in game or film
- Professional and relevant experience developing combat-focused games (Action-Adventure/RPG)
- Strong understanding of Unreal Engine 4 or 5 animation systems and workflows
- Knowledge of the various components of an animation pipeline
- Strong creature animation knowledge and ability
- Knowledge of tools, software and third-party solutions
- Located and authorized for work in the US or Canada

- Self-driven with an ability to adapt and thrive in a dynamic remote work environment
- Excellence in collaborative, interpersonal and communication skills
- Understanding of systemic gameplay, and iterative development methodology
- Foundational skills and a strong grasp for traditional animation techniques
- Self-motivated drive to help continue to develop and support new tools and more efficient workflows and animation style
**Desired Qualifications**
- Appreciation for anime and its techniques employed during production
- Knowledge of modular and procedural workflows
- Background in 2D animation and animation production techniques
- Additional experience in storyboarding or cinematography

**Salary Transparency**: The standard base pay range for this role is USD$100,000 - USD$140,000 Annual (CDN$80,000 - CDN$130,000). Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location.
