Aquatics Manager

Kayla’s Children Centre (KCC) is a Jewish day school, therapy clinic, and recreational centre for children with disabilities, behavioural challenges, and complex medical needs. With a whole-family approach to care, Kayla’s provides hundreds of children with educational, therapeutic, and extracurricular activities year-round and offers support and respite for parents and siblings.

With the construction of KCC’s world-class Hydrotherapy Centre fast approaching completion, we are looking to hire for the position of Aquatics Manager to implement and maintain all aspects of aquatics programming and operations. **Responsibilities**:

- The Aquatics Manager will develop and maintain all aspects of recreational and instructional aquatics programming for children and youth, providing access to high-quality swimming opportunities.
- The Aquatics Manager will implement a successful schedule system to liaise with the various departments who require access to the Hydrotherapy Pool, including the Therapy Department of KCC, the School, and external community groups
- The Aquatics Manager will be responsible for hiring, training, and supervising the aquatic staff.
- The Aquatics Manager will coordinate maintenance of facility and equipment, ensuring a safe, clean, aquatic environment for all participants in accordance with applicable regulations, guidelines, policies and procedures.
- The Aquatics Manager will assist in the budgeting process for the operations and needs of the Hydrotherapy Pool
- The Aquatics Manager will implement an effective software and applicable systems to manage administrative processes including registration, scheduling, and billing.

Skills & Qualifications
- Relevant management experience in Camps, Recreation, Aquatics, or a related field, with demonstrable achievement in successfully implementing and maintaining high-quality programming.
- Previous experience in Aquatics programming an asset, however not a requirement.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Organized and efficient with proven leadership skills
