**HOURS**:12 hours per week, Evenings, Monday through Thursday, as scheduled.
**JOB SUMMARY**:
The Program Supervisor will assist the implementation of a recreational program involving youth who are 10 -16 years of age.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:
Considered Applicants must:

- University Student enrolled in a bachelor’s program.
- Ability to effectively communicate with other employees, the general public, volunteers, and community agencies.
- Experience in planning both short and long term recreation activities.
- Experience in planning recreational activities that are both gym related, and non-gym related.
- Ability to carry out work roles with a minimum of supervision.
- Problem solving skills and the ability to interpret situations accurately and to act accordingly.
- Excellent interpersonal oral and written communication skills.
- Training in crisis intervention, anger and behaviour management techniques would be an asset.
- Valid St. John’s Ambulance Emergency First Aid Certificate would be an asset.

**CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT**:
