**Job Overview**

We are looking for a reliable and proactive Building Service Worker to assist the Building Manager with daily operations and ensure a safe, clean, and enjoyable environment for our residents. This is a part-time position (15-20 hours per week) with a focus on supporting residents, performing maintenance tasks, and contributing to the overall success of the property.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Maintain a positive and professional relationship with residents and staff.
- Address resident inquiries, update property records, and report issues to the Building Manager.
- Ensure that all cleaning, maintenance, and safety tasks are completed on time and according to property standards.
- Work closely with onsite staff, contractors, property managers, and the Strata Council.
- Respond quickly and efficiently to emergencies.
- Review and process maintenance requests from residents, coordinating follow-ups with the Building Manager or contractors as needed.

**Daily Duties Include**:

- Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of lobbies, entrances, and common areas.
- Inspect lighting, doors, and common areas for proper functionality.
- Keep the parkade free of debris and ensure it's tidy.
- Inspect mechanical, electrical, and utility rooms for any issues, including leaks or cleanliness concerns.
- Perform daily pool maintenance and ensure its safety.
- Assist with fire safety inspections as directed by the Building Manager.
- Monitor and maintain the exterior grounds, addressing minor issues or reporting major concerns.
- Distribute notices to residents as needed.
- Address bylaw infractions with a friendly and respectful approach.
- Assist with coordinating contractor activities and resident requests.

**Required Qualifications**:

- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with residents and staff.
- A positive attitude, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn.
- A hands-on approach with a commitment to finding solutions to tasks.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

**Compensation**:
$18.50 - $24.50 per hour, based on experience.
