**The Opportunity**:
Thos. R. Birnie & Sons is currently looking for a
**Sales Consultant** to join our team. In this role you will listen to the needs of our customers and work with them to determine the best sewer repair or replacement services we can offer to meet their needs. Key job tasks include:

- Attend, follow up, and close sales on leads and opportunities that have been provided.
- Build customer relationships, selling the right products and services.
- Create sales proposals that are clear and accurate, which can be easily transferred to the installation team.
- Be available to attend sales appointments when clients are available, including evenings and weekends.
- Get potential customers excited about our company and encourage them to spread the word to win new referrals and repeat business.
- Become an expert of your market area.
- Help set sales plans and propose expansions to achieve & exceed sales goals.
- Participate in training to grow and develop as a sales professional.

**Salary**:
Base salary plus commission. Our sales consultants can earn between $30,000 - $120,000+ per year.

**What We Need From You**:

- Valid driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract.
- Proven track record in sales.
- You are a great communicator and are able to connect and build positive relationships with customers and your team.
- You are a motivated individual, able to work in a fast paced and goal driven environment.
- You demonstrate a positive attitude and are willing to learn and grow.
- Prior knowledge of sewer, waterlines, and weeping tile systems considered an asset.
