**Position**: Security Guard

**Reports to**:Senior Security Manager

Lionsheart Wholeness Centre Inc. is looking for security professionals to join our team. We are a company that is constantly growing and looking for new people to join our team. We are currently hiring for a full-time position in our Sturgeon County, AB location.

**Requirements**:

- Must be 18 years of age
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Must be available to work Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm and Saturday 7:00 am to noon
- Experience working as a security officer must be at least 1 year; or more than 5 years if applicable
- Must have 2-5 years of related experience
- Must have reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
- Must complete all required training within the required time frame
- Lionsheart Wholeness Centre Inc. is a wholistic healing centre dedicated to supporting Indigenous people on their healing journey in a safe and healthy environment, where the learners can find their path while utilizing our resources to help them after completing our program. We collaborate with a vast variety of inner-city organizations and family services to enrich our learners' journeys._

In this role, you will be required to provide non-counseling support in a therapeutic environment and possess the ability to work within a team environment. You must adhere to a weekly planning schedule, provide clear and accurate documentation, maintain functions of the workspace, provide support, leadership, while maintaining all aspects of security detail. This position requires you to walk alongside our learners and help with daily/nightly routines and wellness functions. During your employment you will be expected to carry out the duties assigned to you in a competent and efficient fashion as well as at all times follow accreditation protocol as outlined in the Team Member Employee Handbook.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 40 per week

**Salary**: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

- 8 hour shift
- Evening shift
- Every Weekend
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Sturgeon County, AB T0G 1L2: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Security Guard Licence (preferred)

- Day Shift (preferred)
