**Your responsibilities**:
- Setting up and operating variety of woodworking machines.
- Read design and shop drawings, fabricate millwork to drawings.
- Forecast time WO's will take and discuss with Production Managers.
- Provide progress updates to Production Manager,
- Request materials required from Production Managers.
- Using various hand tools.
- Installing hardware, such as hinges, catches, and drawer pulls.
- Inspect finished work pieces to determinate conformance to specifications.
- Prepare veneering layup requests for veneering department.
- Conduct QC on veneered stock received.
- Conduct QC on products/ pieces leaving the team to next production steps.
- Familiar with work in solid wood.
- Work with and install metal components into millwork fixtures.
**General skills and abilities**:
- 10 years’ wood manufacturing experience in progressivley advanced roles.
- Woodworking knowledge.
- Attention to detail, accuracy.
- Ability to work in a team and/ or lead a team up to 4 people.
- Ability to learn.
- Must be commited to safety.
- Safety shoes.
- Passionate about their work.
