Wilson's is hiring in Trees & Shrubs, Annuals & Perennials and Tropical Departments As a Plant Enthusiast at Wilson's Lifestyle Centre, you will be instrumental in delivering exceptional customer service and sharing your extensive knowledge of plants. In this physically demanding position, your duties will include assisting customers and ensuring the overall cleanliness and organization of the tree and shrub department.

**Responsibilities**
- Provide assistance and expert knowledge to customers
- Evaluate individual plant needs for light, water, fertilizer, and pruning
- Organize and maintain cleanliness in the tree and shrub department
- Administer water in appropriate amounts and clean foliage
- Receive shipments of plants, tag them, and display them on the sales floor
- Offer excellent customer service to enhance the shopping experience
- Keep pottery stocked and well-organized
- Use proper precautions to limit the spread of diseases and pests
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to ensure a secure and healthy work environment

**Requirements**:

- Meet physical demands, including lifting up to 40 pounds, walking, standing for extended periods, climbing ladders, kneeling, and crouching
- Possess good time management and organization skills
- Maintain a flexible schedule, including days, evenings and weekends
- Identify tree and shrubs by common and scientific names
- Demonstrate excellent knowledge of trees and shrubs
- Collaborate effectively as a team player
- Capable of thriving with mínimal supervision and adept at following directions effectively
- Additional responsibilities as delegated

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 per hour
