**Overview**
**Responsibilities**
- Be a liaison and public relations representative for the company within the communities you serve.
- Establish and maintain a strong, efficient, and productive working relationship with approved professionals, business organizations and internal/external company representatives.
- Do visits with other Business Partners and heath providers to promote services including ( Home Care Nurses - Physiotherapist - Age Care Managers - Ostomy Clinics )
- Provide ongoing feedback to the manger regarding recommendations for continued improvement of the department.
- Provides administrative support to the manager while upholding confidentiality in the following areas:
- Participates in performance management including coaching and written work records.
- Assists management in identifying high-potential employees.
- Provide training to subordinates giving them the necessary skills, ability and experience required to perform quality work and meet the standards.
- Participate in the development of yearly competency performance work plan and development action plan and yearly budgets.
- Participates in interviews as required.
- Meet or exceed sales targets by actively engaging with customers / Service Partners and promoting products.
- Handle point-of-sale transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Upsell complementary products and services to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs.
- Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits effectively.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently while maintaining proper cash handling procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, ensuring products are well-stocked and displayed attractively.
- Utilize time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy periods.
- Communicate product knowledge clearly to customers, answering any questions they may have.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve store sales goals and enhance the overall shopping experience.
- Provide excellent phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone, addressing inquiries promptly.
- Provide ongoing feedback to the manger regarding recommendations for continued improvement of the centre.
- Assist in the administration of the sale of merchandise, inventory control, purchasing, price integrity, invoices, credits, claims, and all administrative areas not specifically referred to in this document.
**Qualifications**
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (required); additional education in healthcare or medical sales is a plus.
- Previous experience in Mobility / Ostomy retail sales is preferred but not required.
- Experience in retail sales, medical supply sales, or healthcare support is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-first attitude.
- Knowledge of mobility aids and ostomy products or a willingness to learn.
- Ability to handle sensitive customer interactions with empathy and professionalism.
- Basic computer and point-of-sale system skills.
- Ability to lift and move products up to 50 pounds.
- Comfortable standing for extended periods and performing repetitive tasks.
- Strong cash handling skills with attention to detail in transactions.
- Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
- A friendly demeanor with a passion for helping customers find the right products.
- Willingness to learn about new products and stay updated on industry trends.
