**JOB DESCRIPTION: PEOPLE EXPERIENCE GENERALIST (HR)**

Our facility is engaged in breeding and growing crickets for consumption. Our Team manages the full scope of HR functions and we’re looking for a People Experience Generalist to join the team to support our HR functions. Reporting to the People Experience Manager, the Generalist will implement our Health and Safety policies, procedures, and training.

The People Experience Generalist will be primarily responsible for the research, development, and implementation of policies and best practices in OHS for our current facility in London, Ontario. Reporting to the People Experience Manager, this role requires strong knowledge of Employment legislation, particularly the Occupational Health and Safety Act, and a proactive, customer service approach to supporting organizational needs.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Develop, implement, and oversee health and safety policies and procedures.
- Create training modules that are engaging, participatory, and robust learning opportunities.
- Address employee queries, and concerns, promptly, and foster a positive work environment.
- Maintain accurate records, process paperwork, and generate reports as required.
- Assist the People Experience Manager with the administration of WSIB claims.
- Act as backup for payroll functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing in collaboration with the Finance department.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience combined with your Post Secondary Education in Occupational Health and Safety or Human Resources.
- An HR certification (e.g., CHRP, CHRL) is preferred.
- Experience or education in Occupational Health and Safety is an asset.

Pay: $50,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
