Are you passionate about creating a better community through high-quality urban design? The City of Beaumont is seeking two members to join the **Design Review Committee**.
The Beaumont Urban Design Guidelines are intended for designers, developers and builders working in Beaumont to understand the values and qualities that make the city unique and remarkable. The Guidelines help set the expectation around site and building design and level of quality for different types of development within Beaumont.
We are seeking:
- Two members that hold professional expertise in the fields of architecture, landscape architecture, urban design, planning, or engineering and practice locally or within the Edmonton metropolitan region.
- Selected applicants will serve a 2 year term. Members may serve on the Design Review Committee for two consecutive terms. They may serve for more than two consecutive terms if there are no other qualified applicants to fill their position.
- The Design Review Committee attend meetings monthly, as needed.
Members of the Design Review Committee are responsible for the following:
- Attend Design Review Committee meetings.
- Maintain confidentiality as it pertains to any material that may be proprietary and is received by them in carrying out the mandate of the Design Review Committee.
**Applications are open from November 6, 2024 to December 6, 2024.**
