**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Oversee the daily operations and maintenance of the human anatomy laboratory, ensuring a safe, clean, and functional learning environment
- Assist academic and clinical faculty in delivering curriculum content through practical, hands-on support within laboratory sessions with medical learners
- Perform dissections of human anatomical specimens
- Set up and prepare laboratory sessions for students, ensuring the proper handling of materials and equipment
- Support the Anatomical Gift Program, including the safe preparation, storage, and tracking of donated human anatomy specimens, while ensuring strict confidentiality
- Support and collaborate with the Manager of Medical Laboratories in administering the Anatomical Gift Program
- Maintain and organize equipment and resources required for lab sessions and ensure all materials are properly stored and inventoried
- Communicate effectively with academic and clinical faculty, staff, and Anatomical Gift donor families in a sensitive and respectful manner

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Bachelor of Science in appropriate discipline
- Four (4) years or more experience in a laboratory setting with thorough knowledge of laboratory safety, including the handling of hazardous materials
- A Master’s degree is an asset
- Experience with anatomical specimens and dissection of tissues
- Computer literacy in word processing, spreadsheets and web searches are essential
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated organizational, problem solving and time management abilities
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Ability to handle sensitive situations and materials, with a high level of ethical integrity and confidentiality
- Experience working in a medical or academic learning environment is an asset
