**Dietary Manager**

**The Opportunity**
This role will direct staff in the delivery of dietary and nutritional services per legislative policies and
procedures, and resident requirements of their assigned home. This role will also develop work processes and
implements programs and initiatives as required.
**What you will do: What you will need**:

- Plan, organize, lead, manage and evaluate the

Dietary unit to provide high-quality programs relating
to the nutritional and cultural needs of residents,
including comprehensive menu planning
- Lead employees in a manner consistent with District

values, policies and procedures, including hiring,
training, scheduling and performance evaluation
- Source availability of supplies and equipment, as well

as arrange for maintenance, servicing and
replacements to ensure safe standards
- Assist with planning and maintain department budget
- Successful completion of Food Service

Supervisor’s course and is qualified for
membership in the Canadian Society of
Nutritional Management.
- Graduation from a two-year Community

College program of specialized courses
related to Food Services management or
equivalent.
- Over 3 years of progressive related

experience in food service programs

This is a full-time opportunity at the District. The annualized compensation range for this role is **$75,638 -**
