Scheduler- Birthing Unit

**Summary of Duties**

Classification: Regular Part Time (0.2FTE)

The scheduler is responsible for staffing, scheduling, payroll and the administrative support for Birthing Unit, Maternal and Newborn Unit and the High Risk Obstetrical Unit. In addition, there is an opportunity to work on small projects as necessary.

**Qualifications/Skills**
- One year of Community College; Medical Terminology course preferred
- One year of Administrative/Business experience in health care setting required
- Keyboarding at 40 net words per minute or keyboarding at 106 net keystrokes per minute
- Advanced computer skills with a high degree of accuracy
- Outstanding customer service skills essential
- Ability to organize work effectively, and work at a fast pace in an unpredictable environment that requires the ability to manage multiple tasks
- Excellent problem-solving skills, ability to deal with conflict and communicate appropriately with residents, families and staff
- Demonstrated understanding and ability to work in an interprofessional team environment
- Demonstrated knowledge of ESP staff scheduling / Dimensions software
- Relieve/fill in for PAAs on M5 as needed
