Special Event Support members at Cambridge Mill play a key role on the Special Events Team. Their purpose is to directly assist the team in a variety of tasks. They may be required to lift and carry furniture and décor items; set-up, operate and troubleshoot AV equipment; set linens and settings on tables and any variety of other tasks to support the smooth running of the department.

**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Exhibit a positive optimism and upbeat personality toward guests, team members, vendors and business partners.
- Maintain positive relationships within the team unit as well as with those outside of it, work together with others toward the common goal of success across the property.
- Willingly accept additional tasks as required for the effective functioning of the work unit
- Graciously assist others to complete the job
- Set up event / wedding space as per instructions of the Event Manager and BEO details.
- Set up and operate AV equipment as required - including music, microphones, slideshows and other equipment.
- Take responsibility for the entire property, inside and out, by collecting debris, sweeping exterior entryways, emptying garbage cans, changing light bulbs and any other duties requested to keep the property spotlessly tidy.
- Care for all equipment and supplies by using and handling appropriately and carefully and replacing safely after use.

Must be able to lift and carry furniture, supplies, floral arrangements, glassware, etc

Must be available for weekend and late night work.

Must be comfortable taking direction and be able to follow instructions

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: From $16.00 per hour
