**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Greet patients warmly and manage check-in and check-out processes.
- Schedule appointments and confirm patient visits using Dentrix and other scheduling software.
- Maintain accurate patient records and manage electronic medical records (EMR).
- Handle incoming calls, respond to inquiries, and direct calls to appropriate staff members.
- Process patient payments and manage billing inquiries.
- Assist with insurance verification and claims processing as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area to ensure a welcoming environment for patients.
- Collaborate with dental staff to ensure smooth office operations.

**Skills**
- Proficiency in Akituone software or similar dental practice management software is preferred.
- Familiarity with Epic and electronic medical records systems is a plus.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry.
- Previous experience as a dental receptionist or in a dental office setting is highly desirable.
- Experience in a medical office environment is beneficial.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to operate multi-line phone systems effectively.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with patients and staff.
