**Job Opportunity: General Manager**

**Location: Duffy’s Tavern**

We are seeking a **highly motivated and experienced General Manager** to lead our dynamic team and oversee the daily operations of our restaurant. As the General Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring **exceptional guest experiences, managing a high-performing team, and driving business growth**.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Oversee all **daily restaurant operations**, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
- Lead, train, and motivate both **front-of-house and back-of-house staff**.
- Maintain high standards of **food quality, cleanliness, and safety protocols**.
- Manage **inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships** to ensure proper stock levels.
- Create and maintain **budgets**, monitor financial performance, and drive profitability.
- Foster a **positive and welcoming atmosphere** for both staff and guests.
- Address **guest concerns and complaints** promptly and professionally.
- Implement **marketing strategies** to increase foot traffic and sales.
- Ensure compliance with **municipal, provincial, and federal regulations**.

**Qualifications**:

- **Proven experience** as a restaurant manager or in a similar leadership role.
- Strong **leadership, communication, and organizational skills**.
- Ability to thrive in a **fast-paced, high-pressure environment**.
- Excellent **problem-solving and decision-making** abilities.
- Knowledge of **food safety and sanitation regulations**.
- **Smart Serve and Food Handler’s certification** required.
- **Flexibility** with work hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
