HFX Steel Framing Solutions is a light gauge steel manufacturer based in Dartmouth NS. Specializing in the pre-fabrication of light gauge steel members used in residential & commercial construction.

**Job description**

The Fabricator / installer personnel is engaged in the fabrication and assembly of steel framing members, as well as in charge of material handling of products. This role is involved in meeting fabrication deadlines, improving on fabricating techniques and improving warehouse activities.

Job Duties involve:

- Ensuring safe and efficient function of the warehouse
- Assist machine operators, assemblers and other workers
- Repetitive tasks
- Moving and storing of raw/WIP/finished goods
- Clean machines and work areas
- Inventory and maintain production materials and supplies
- Proactive communication with all depts. To ensure job flow and quality

**Required Skills**:

- Ability to work well with a small team as well as individually.
- Layout, fit, and assemble all fabrications.
- Able to lift up-to 100lbs.
- Able to stand for long periods of time while working on the machines and warehouse floor.
- Any warehouse training is an asset.
- Experience with material handling equipment is also an asset (forklifts, industrial scales, racking and storage)

**Salary**: From $15.00 per hour

- 8 hour shift
